Background

Mr. Hirsch is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. He practices primarily in the areas of business litigation and employment litigation with a particular focus on non-competition and confidentiality agreements, representing both employers and employees.

Mr. Hirsch received his B.A. degree from Boston University in 1972, majoring in American History, and his J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1975. He began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney, and then spent several years as Chief Operating Officer of a statewide chain of retail stores, an experience that enables him to understand a client’s needs and seek practical solutions to problems.

Mr. Hirsch and his wife Elissa have two sons, a daughter, and two grandsons and reside in the St. Petersburg area. Mr. Hirsch graduated from the Leadership St. Pete program and has served as President of the Sunshine City Jaycees and President of Temple Beth–El. He was a founding member of the All Children’s Hospital Development Council and serves on the Board of Trustees of Admiral Farragut Academy. He is a passionate fan of the Tampa Bay Rays and a charter season ticket holder of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
